We have seen with my KMTH submission that there are significant differences in the SImumlator between photogrammetry on and off. Based on the feedback from the Moderators we are required now to use photogrammetry as a baseline for future updates.
In the case of KMTH will result this in visual “glitches” (slightly offplaced aprons and taxiways) when the user it not using photogrammetry.
Is this “always use photogrammetry” the best way to move forward? As long as photogrammetry and the normal satalite image are in some cases slightly off placed we will see these kind of issues…
