Please Include Hedges in the New Fencing Tool

While I was very pleased to hear about the new fencing tool mentioned in
Wednesday’s SDK Q&A; session, can I please request that you also include
hedges, as airfield perimeters often include hedges, especially the smaller
airfields. I’ve created both fences and hedges using the SDK Scenery Editor
and while the current fencing is awkward to use, it is doable, but hedges are
non-existent and laborious to create using individual bushes. Goodness knows
what using individual bushes does for the triangle count!

PS: Thanks for starting the bi-monthly SDK Q&A; sessions, very informative and
appreciated.

Hello, The new fence-placing tools was made available on SimUpdate 8. Were you
able to use it to place a hedge on your scenery?

VectorPlacement under the same place as Scenery, Apron, Polygons etc

I can’t find this but I believe this is linked to SU9 (I’m not in beta), not
SU8 as mentioned above.

, Indeed the vector placement tool is new in the SU9 As for the Hedges,
you will just need to use the VectorPlacement tool and select your model of
Hedges. Regards, Boris
