There is no problem with AI
departing from the airport. We tried a lot of different changes / fixes but
nothing helps. Do you have any idea what is causing this? Please find enclosed
our source AFCAD file - any suggestions are appreciated, because in all our
other sceneries we do not face any similar issues with AI, only in EPKK Krakow

I had not checked the XML yet, but the first things to check: 1) Holdshort
nodes conncted to the runway and in the correct direction 2) Taxiway/path to
all gates/parking 3) Parking is big enough to handle the airplane (check
potential types as well)
It was fully checked and we are almost sure that it’s correct now. 2) We
checked this few times and we didn’t identify any issue. 3) There are free
gates near the airport terminal and all others are GA. And before departure we
can see A320 there and AI departures work fine, so it’s strange why A320
doesn’t want to taxi to the same stands, when they are free.
Overlapping spots? Incl. overlapping ground service vehicle radius (6m extra)?
I have currently no access to my Sim-Setup to check the XML code in the
scenery editor, can you upload an image from the Scenery Editor or Airport
Debug View showing the terminal area?
from the looks of it: - Most spots are to close to each other, the 6m radius
will overlapp and result in only one active spot of these 2 spots. - Are you
using Taxiway and Path? (Blue and Green lines) - What are the Gates/Ramp
sizes? What AI are you using to test the scenery?
I’m afraid the fact that they are too close to each other is no reason. In our
new scenery of EPRZ, they are even closer and there is no single problem with
AI. It’s not the case. Regarding using Taxiway and Path - we tried both,
connected via Path and sometimes there was Taxi. We tried to remove Taxi but
AI still disappear on the runway. Gates have between 32 and 18m. We tried with
default but our users also reported the same AI behaviour with some custom AI.
We have no clue what is the difference between EPKK and all our other
sceneries because we do not have a similar problem anywhere.
I ran a quick test with the file, here my observations with our own AIG based
AI: 1) To few parking spots (most of them are to small and blocked by the
extra 6m radius) → only 1 airplane spawned, while 4 could not be placed in a
free spot → since all possible spots have been blocked, landing airplanes got
removed after landing For further testing I would suggest: - move some spots
so the extra 6m radius is not overlapping (see Airport Debug view for details)
No more suggestions? We have no clue what to do with this issue - only our
scenery in Krakow is affected, but we did all other sceneries in the same
manner and there is no such issue…
Will run the extended AIG-StressTest over the Airport again with the XML you
provided and report back. We might be to isolate the issue based on the
results
Hello @Martin_Starski and sorry for the
delay It looks like the generic airport at this location is missing the runway
‘taxipath’. I build a project with your XML (and then I put it in community)
and all of AI aircraft were able to taxi to the parking after landing. (SU9 /
SU10) Maybe it’s because there are no gate / ramp available ? Can you post a
screenshot of the runway with the taxi debug option ? You can try to debug
taxi via Airports > Additional Taxi Info / Taxi Regards, Boris
