Purpose of Official2020 and Official2024 Peer Folders in Community?

I checked the SDK documentation and previous posts, no results other than the canned Community folder definition.

What purpose does the Official2020 and Official2024 peer folders serve? They are programmatically created when users choose to move their Community folder installation. Can they be safely removed, or renamed?

Yes I’m very curious about these folders. Maybe they are related to the upcoming Marketplace?

Apologies for the delay in answering: the two folders are related to the Marketplace indeed.
They will allow to have both the 2020 & 2024 versions of the same package on your hard drive.

Is also relate with ability of download content localy is planned with SU_2 right ?

‘‘Community’’ Folder mover for all MSFS content Data, like MSFS 2020.

With SU1, is also add StreamingPackage Folder with Community and Official2020 + Official2024

Official2020 + Official2024 folder is for future ability to Download content localy like MSFS 2020 is planned with SU_2
