Currently, flap extension time is a single value that denominates how long it
takes for flaps to go from zero to max extension. The time for each stage is
taken as flaps_percent_extended * flaps_extension_time. In reality, flap
stages can have individual timings per stage (i.e. PC-12, B737) and also,
different extension and retraction times (i.e. F-4 Phantom). Therefore I would
recommend adding two new, optional, comma-separated values to each flap stage,
being extension and retraction time in seconds. To make use of the new
parameter, developers can set extending-time = 0 or extending-time =
-1.
Totally agree with Alex, Boeing 727 flaps is another example! and we making
one therefore this will also be required to have a good simulation of these.
