It would be nice if we could display PDFs in the EFB.
Simply add the files to our simobjects folder and it will load in with the plane.

Yes indeed!
There is an “Aircraft Information” tab in the Aircraft App. We do not know how to use it yet, as EFB is still very much not documented.
If this functionality were to allow reading PDFs it will be great.
In the past I’d include manuals in the package, but since everything is streamed now, this method no longer works.
The EFB is the logical place where one could access flight manuals, perfomance charts, etc…

Yeah included documents become useless because they get encrypted
You can ask the MarketPlace team to skip certain files from encryption. In this case PDFs.
PDFs are not supported by the version of coherent in MSFS, in hence the difficulty and lack of support for it and very unlikely it will be ever possible unless they replace coherence by something else.
