I’ve been doing a lot of scenery editing since 2024 came out, and I’ve noticed one change that’s a bit annoying in the new scenery editor. In FS2020, loading a project into the editor caused the sim to set the local time of day to 1200, local time. In 2024, it seems to set it to 1200 zulu time. That’s fine if you’re developing European scenery, but the project I’m working on is GMT-8, which means that every time I load it, if I want to see the airport in daylight, I have to manually set the time locally first.
It’s a small thing, but it sure would help if we could either have the editor not reset the sim time at all, or go back to setting it to local noon instead of GMT.
