I’m currently seeing behavior regarding Simconnect, and Simulator pauses (i.e. hitting ESC to change controlls, etc). Any applications that run along side of the simulator crash when the sim is paused. This is including applications like BeyondATC, Axis and Ohs, Popout Manager, etc.
This is VERY annoying.

“Any application” is vague and incorrect, as per my response to that post. This needs more details to be actionable.
Ah, yes, it’s very much related. I should have specified any application which uses simconnect crashes/disconnects.
But that’s not true…
Typo? Did you mean
Lorbys Axis and Ohs, and MSFS Popout Manager also disconnect during a sim pause

If this is still an issue, we would need to be in touch with the devs of one of those apps so they can provide more information on where the crash occurs and hopefully be able to replicate it.
