Hey Guys! I’m trying to create a very simple rotating radar animation with 3DS
Max. In 3DS the animation works fine but in MSFS the radar does not rotate.
Most probably my workflow is wrong. 1. I have created a “Dummy”, animated it.
Attached the object to it. Assigned an animation group. Exported it with
babylon. Edited the xml:
The static objects appears.
Rebuilded the project, restarted MSFS, reloaded the project and still it does
not move. Any idea what is the problem? Thanks a lot!
The attribute is called " TypeParam ", not “TypeParams”
Thanks a lot! Indeed this was the problem
Additional question, what is the frame per second for animations? I cannot
find it in the SDK. The old FSX was running with 18 frames per sec, but I
suppose this is now higher.
Congrats virtuali, You are our first user to provide an answer that has been
accepted on this new Q&A; platform. We hope it is the first one of a long
series. Regards, Sylvain
When I developed my animation with blender, the framerate was displayed as
beeing 25 frames per second. I haven’t done any measurements but I guess it
should be that.
I assume that You have defined that as a simobject and not as a scenery
object, correct? My animations - user initiated - are not running as scenery
object but only as simobjects.
