Hey! I was just wondering if there is (or otherwise can be added to the
wishlist) a simulation variable for snow coverage? I’m trying to get snow
piles to appear when the ground has a snow layer but can’t seem to find a
variable suited for that. I can see there are variables for precipitation,
temperature etc, but they don’t seem to directly set the snow coverage on the
ground? Or is there some magic numbers that can be used to set the conditional
display to show correctly? We want to create a SimObject with conditional
display making snow piles appear when ground has a certain level of snow
coverage on one of our airport projects. We’ve noticed there is a surface
condition variable, but doesn’t seem to work with SimObjects and also only
seems to be say if it’s snow or not, and not the amount of coverage. Many
thanks for your help, Regards, Marcus Nyberg
This is a brilliant idea!
Hello @marcusnyberg We don’t have a dedicated simulation variable at the
moment. You probably want to check my answer here as the snow coverage value
can probably be fetched this way:

Thank you Sylvain, I’ll have a look at that solution. Appreciate your help!
