Strange stutter receiving simvars

I am using a couple of 3rd party apps like Air Manager and Spad. I have noticed a strange behavior in some very specific scenarios where simconnect only updates variables at a rate of about once per second for a period of time.

This can be duplicated by taking off in default steam gauge 172 (also does the same thing in the JF Arrow) from KEQY rwy 23 and loading the RNAV approach to rwy 5 with BUTKE as IAF. When you get about 6.6nm from BUTKE, both Spad and Air Manager will only show vars being updated about once per second for about a minute or so and then go back to normal. I have tried this with either program disabled and it occurs every time in both.

Latest SU 13 (it happened before SU13 as well) and latest SDK installed.

Any idea what could cause this?

If your problems are depending on third party applications, you should first try to contact the developers of these apps.
Then, if they need our help, they will come here and create a new post.
