Taxi path bug, planes wont move! SU2 beta 1.4.12

Context: What package? When editing or mounted from Community? In main menu or in flight? etc…
Gamod´s bgl - traffic plans only in community. Nothing else.

Bug description:
In some airports, that has taxi path straigh to middle of runway, has problems with ai airplanes not moving from parking.

Repro steps:

  1. download this .bgl pack and plave to community: GAmod2024-Traffic_for_bug_list.zip - Google Drive
  2. Go to SKBU (Colombia) parking, open dev mode and enable Debug ai path. Traffic settings AI OFFLINE traffic set to ULTRA.
  3. see the behaviour like this image (planes dont move):

The fact that AI Offline aircraft are not moving has already been reported on the forums and is currently in our backlog and under investigation.

I’ll let you know as soon as I have any updates to share.

Thank you very much! Can you say, is it ok for you to make bug reports here and in forums? I remember in forum one admin said, that there need to be another report as reply message, so feedback logged status would be changed to bug logged status. It is very frustfrating as a dec to be like uncertain, it the bug reports really effective in forums…

It depends. If you find a bug that’s not related to DevMode in general (including custom projects or tools) or the SDK, then it should be reported on the forums, not here.

In this case, I initially thought the issue was with your custom package not working properly with AI traffic.
But it turns out that even without your package in the Community folder, AI traffic has issues, so the correct place to report this kind of bug is the forums.

I completely understand that sometimes the line can be hard to define, especially for topics like this one :wink:

I understand. But like there was simconnect bug report here also reported by fsltl and aig devs, but in those cases simconnect method makes the diffrence? Btw stock AIOffline method doesent still work with msfs2024 because aircrafts in .bgl isnt msfs2024 aircrafts and arent pointing at all to msfs2024 ai models. It would be easy fix and i could do it for you based msfs2024 stock ai models. Thats why i cant reproduce this bugs with stock ai offline so i need custom .bgl’s.

It’s hard to tell before it’s fully investigated.
We’ve had both cases in the past.
But if, for a bug reported here, we find a similar report for a bug that affects the whole sim, we need this to be addressed first before we investigate if there are any DevMode/SDK specifics.
