TURB ENG N1 LOSS for Helo-Turbine (helicopter) engine type

Hello. The TURB ENG N1 LOSS simvars (& friends) don’t seem to have any impact with helicopter turbines. We would like to use this feature to simulate IBF and possibly engine ice.

Same for Turbo Props… it seems to work on Jet Engines…

These simvars are only applicable to jet turbines at the moment.

But the cooling loss is working on turboProps… I am using it…

Are there any plans to extend all variables for Turbos too? they are very useful…

That’s right, I was tracking TURB ENG N1 LOSS specifically but that seems to be the only one not used for turboprops.

For sure, there is nothing on Helicopter side as SimVar writing is not implemented.

There are no plans to extend these variables for now. I will forward the request.

Any update on this? I remember seeing N1 loss working on helicopters in the beginning of 2023.
