TurboProps ITT Temperatures

Dear Asobo, I am unable to tweak my turboprop ITT temperatures, not matter
what I try, I can seem to get it to work as it does in real world, it is
either too hot or too cold under many circumstances on the flight, the fuel
consumption has been configured as per POH and working perfectly on each ISA
condition and altitude, so clearly something with the ITT configuration
formula is not flexible enough.

The documentation states, the FuelFlow ITTmin and Max are not exposed, there
is another variable thought ITTCooling, which I cannot find any reference and
I think it is also no exposed, is this correct? I just need confirmation on
this please, maybe worth updating the documentation to reflect this. Finally,
can we write our own ITT Values via A:VARS? Being considering writing my own
ITT Temps simulation in order to make this part of the product more realistic
given I cannot configure ITT to run smoothly via .cfg files. Thanks in
advance, Raul

Hello @Simbol ITTCooling is not a configurable parameter, we are paraphrasing
the code. This variable contains the calculation made, based on airflow, that
contributes to cooling the engine. Something that’s probably missing is the
value of FuelFlowITTMin/Max factors in the case of turboprops as you can’t
adjust them: FuelFlowITTMin = 0.65 FuelFlowITTMax = 0.8 ( @Nocturne FYI) I
think, knowing this, you can get the ITT you want using the constant and peak
temperature parameters, at least on the ground. Then you’ll need to see how
the airflow cooling influences it. And finally, yes you can write your own

Perfect, Ok with this information I can probably tweak the formula better and
just adjust the ITT simulation during starts to complement it. Thanks again
for the quick response and additional data. Best, Raul

@FlyingRaccoon REALLY Struggling with ITT Simulation for a Turboprop No matter
WHAT PEAK ITT I set in the engines cfg … it exceeds the limit every time What
am I missing ??
