I was flying a helicopter the other day and decided to visit a nearby VOR. What I have noticed is that the VOR appear on the scenery image tile, but the AI scenery placed a house on top of it.
For tubeliners a VOR is just a symbol on the screen, but for us rotorheads a VOR is a scenery object.
Good idea in theory. But this “AI” took various 100-200’ long RC parks and made them into fantasy airports complete with invented ICAO… So database consultation doesn’t seem to be a strong point.
Not all AI are making up stuff like LLMs. If you train the existing MSFS Scenery AI (BlackShark) to place a VOR model on existing known locations of VORs, there can be a VOR model on it instead of a house.
At least if you have a World update, update the VOR models as well for that country.
