Wave animation vs elevation

Is there any way, any possible way, to get the elevation of the waves under a contact point?

Are there any plans to improve this in future platforms? I am building an airplane with floaters and it feels so strange it cannot follow the waves…

Maybe we’ll see some improvement in FS2024. But no one knows.
