Hello Team Asobo and FlyingRaccoon, A quick question. What causes the Prop RPM
to ‘hang’ (temporarily delay) on a Turboprop when you throttle down? For
instance, I am landing, and I throttle off to gently touch down, but the prop
continues to run at its RPM for several seconds, instead of almost immediately
spooling down. Its my own issue I have created by my needs of power and things
that has caused this, but I have no idea how to adjust this. When adjusting
the n1_to_shaft_torque_table= setting-table I now seem to have this issue.
Just a temporary ‘hang’ that lasts a long 2 or 3 seconds. If I could bring
that down a little bit, it wouldnt be so noticeable. Many thanks for all your
help. MSFS Rocks! Bill Lionheart Creations
Hello @lyonhaart001 This can be adjusted using 2 things: The
fuel_flow_controller_xxx parameters (replacing the fuel_flow_gain
parameter) in engine.cfg TURBINEENGINEDATA section. You can tweak it
to adjust how fast your fuel flow will match the target fuel flow. The
propeller_moi parameter in engine.cfg PROPELLER section. The smaller
the parameter is, the faster the propeller will adjust its RPM when throttling
down. Hope this helps. Regards, Sylvain
