Prior to SU1, HUDs on the C17 were green, as expected. Since SU1 release, both huds are now displaying purple/white, even when the correct green font colours are set to green on the HTML/CSS. This exact same issue does also seem to occur in the A400M.
Font colour on HUD seems to depend on HUD Brightness - increasing brightness on the HUD shifts the colour towards purple, while decreasing shifts towards white.
after further testing and tinkering, this is the result we are able to get and replicate. at the end of the video, we are able to see the green HUD after force setting the fallback color to a lime green and adjusting the time of day. during the course of the entire video we somehow manage to get 3 different colors, all based on time of day. is this as intended or are we missing something? we can send the needed files for replication if needed for you to help us take a closer look at our issues in the C17 Globemaster. thanks in advance!
I managed to repro your issue but unfortunately the person who could help sort the bug out is not available right now - I’ll see if someone else can help while he is out. I might check the changes that were made between launch and SU1 in this area myself, but I won’t be as efficient in this exercise as my colleague would be.
I doubt we can fix this on our end prior to the SU1 release but I’ll get back to you to confirm.
