Windsocks cannot be hidden in the Scenery Editor

Version: SU/AAU/WU XX - 1.XX.XX.X SU 15 - 1.37.19.0, SDK 0.24.3

Frequency: Once/Rarely/Frequently/Consistently Consistently

Severity: Low/High/Blocker Medium

Context: What package? In edition or mounted from Community? In main menu or in flight? etc… Scenery Editor

Bug description:
For most objects, if I locate them in the Scenery Editor and click the eye ( :eye: ) icon, the Scenery Editor will hide and un-hide said objects. This does not work for windsocks.

Repro steps:

  1. Open or create a scenery project in the Scenery Editor.
  2. Add or locate a windsock.
  3. Click the “eye” icon next to the windsock (see the first screenshot in the Attachments section, below).
  4. Observe the windsock in the airport or scenery.

Expected result:
The windsock should disappear.

Observed result:
The windsock does not disappear (see the second screenshot in the Attachments section, below).

SimObjects can’t be hidden.

Is that documented somewhere? I have looked for documentation on this.

Hello,

As Rhumbaflappy said, Simoject can’t be hidden.
I added an item about this in our backlog.

Regards,
Boris
