We are in the process of releasing our latest Carrier product on Xbox and we have just been notified by the Microsoft testing team that our product is CTD on Xbox, but not on PC (we have hundreds of customers who already tested the PC version without any issues.)
I do not believe the reason has to do with Memory, as the statistics profiler shows quite decent stats and Xbox should handle it. It is likely that has something to do with the WorldScript, but cannot easily identify what the issue is.
Any chance you guys could give us a hand (perhaps access the Xbox dump files?)
According to the testing team at Microsoft, it crashes whenever the sim is loaded at one of the carriers. Happens at all carrier locations included with the package.
We have identified the problem.
This is caused by a filepath not being correctly handled on Xbox.
The bug is logged and we will come back to you as soon as the fix is available.
Yes, there will be a fix candidate when the next flighting starts.
We are waiting for it to being before we update bug reports and ask people to double check.
