Ground color looks bleach white in MSFS 2024 compared to MSFS 2020, Bing Maps and real life

Version: 1.4.14

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: High
The ground color in many places looks almost completely white in many places where it should be brown or gray. The same grass/gravel strips that look natural in MSFS 2020 looks unnaturally white in MSFS 2024. For example, the screenshots below were taken in Westport, ON.

Marketplace package name: CRL2 Westport/Rideau-Lakes Airport

Context: This is not an issue with the package, the ground coloration is much too white in the surrounding region compared to what you see in Bing or real life, any time of year, any weather. The grass is also too brown. There’s already a bug reported about the season discoloration (Seasons broken: Countries looks way to brown and desatured. Needs fix - Wishlist - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums) but this ground color issue is all year round.

Similar MSFS 2020 issue: MSFS 2020 also shows the ground/gravel too light, but it’s less severe. Grass is overly saturated in MSFS 2020, but closer to reality than MSFS 2020.

Note: the scenery has a CGL, but the colors are matched to Bing Maps.
