Similar MSFS 2020 issue: [SU12] SimConnect human not moving

Bug description:
Same issue as in 2020
In 2020 we created a copy of the SimObjects/Humans we needed and set those to “Animal”, with all packages now streaming this is not possible as workaround.

Repro steps:
Inject default Humans as SimObjects and send them waypoints.

hey guys,

any news (or maybe timeframe) on this, I have not seen anything in the changelog for SU1 - or did I missed something?

Greetings
Kai

Hello @Kaiii3

There is a fix candidate in Sim Update 2.

Sylvain

Glad to hear, that a fix is coming with SU2. Thanks!

Hello @Kaiii3

This is fixed with SU2 beta 1.4.7.0.
Please have a look and let us know if this is good for you.

Hey @FlyingRaccoon (Sylvian),

thanks for the info. I have not opted yet for the beta, but will try on the weekend and report back.
(Not sure if I can test, since users report currently CTDs in the Beta when using injected AI Traffic)

@FlyingRaccoon Sylvain,

this looks partial fixed. I injected “Marshaller_Male_Summer_Arab” using AICreateSimulatedObject and then send waypoints to it.

No matter what Waypoint-Flag I have set, the human moved but was “sliding” and not walking at all (no animation enabled). From the speed it was “sliding” it looked like it was way to fast for a normal human walking speed.

Do you need a Debug-Package?

short update: While testing in some cases it seems that the animation do work, not sure why they do not “show” in some other cases…

Possibly an issue with the SimObject itself, I’ll have this looked at as well.

Sylvain
