Missing Objects in the built Package

Since today 17h UTC , i can’t add anymore object in my airport.
The compilation seems to work but the output package don’t have the new scenery added object ( a small PC mouse from now)

I tried with the back up working package of yesterday but it is the same…

Like if we can’t add anymore scenery object in the BGL.

I have already lost many hour of work on it.
There is no reason exepct somthing from your side at the moment , i am lost.

Please help and/or fix it team.

Thanks

Hi Kem,
I’ve been building packages all day without issue. Does the compiler throw an error message?

I do not believe there is anything that Asobo or Microsoft could do on their end that would affect building a package without an update to the sim. So it shouldn’t just stop working without the issue being local to you PC, I would think. Unless you are on beta and they did an update today (I am not on the beta).

Normally when I run into compiler errors, it’s something the sim doesn’t like with the actual model, a bad material that needs to be rebuilt, or a typo in the model XML.

Hi,
I am working as full time job on MSFS.
I never had this type of issues.

The compiler don’t show any error. ( 0 failed)
I tried to add another scenery object with the same result.

No error in the package building , if i re open the project the object is here but it isn’t there in the output package. It is a crazy thing.

I also tried with a bakckup from the previous day with the same result.

The computer is well.

I don’t work on the beta version.

I am lost in my work actually.

Regards

I can see a warning in the compiler
"No partial lister for the asset group BGL

Update:
It seems the issue don’t com from the builder but from the in sim rendering.
Like if some settings have change and i can’t see anymore small objects…

After moved some cursors , the little object appeared sudenly…

I continue to think that some things on background are changing that affect the simulator out of updates…

So the compilation is working , my objects are here but for any reason can be seen depending on some simulator settings ( i didn’t touch).

I continue to try to make my new objects to work…
They have been used in other of my airports , working well , i have change guid for sure.

Regards

New update
For an unknow reason some small objects don’t appears anymore in the sim.
Everthing was verified from our side (scale etc)…

They are working in previous projects

Is this airport much larger than what you’ve done before?
It sounds like the issue where if the sim starts running out of memory space, it starts removing objects from view.

Hi ,
Yes it is a big aiport .
I am working on the V2 so it is already working great.

Ok that is a good note and will investigate but we have tested the same small object not working on a small test project with nothing on a another computer with more memory for the same result.
Thanks a lot for the answer and the help.
Regards

Update
After many tests, it seems that to small objects can be seen since last SimUpdate…
I tried everthing , a simple sqare , LODs etc… nothing to do …
If to small , it didn’t work anymore.

Hello @KemPESIM

Regarding this issue, there have been no changes on our end.
I was unable to reproduce the behavior you described.

However, I recommend checking your graphic settings, as they may have an impact.

Additionally, you can use a bounding box to simulate a large object, but please be aware that displaying more objects in the scenery will consume more memory.

Boris

Hello @Boris
Thanks for the answer and happy to see you.

I will try to be the most exaustiv on this issue.

  1. I have deeply tested my graphics settings as well as the package itself.

2 . The issue was here just since few days and the objects with the issue are used and working well in many of my airports.

  1. I have made a simple object to test with the same issue .
A teammate on another computer with a simple package have the same issue.

  2. Yes , adding a larger bouding box is the solution but i never seen a object here in the editor and not in the output package before.

  3. I will add you 2 objects if you want to do the test.

Info12 : was uses and working well on many of my airports.
-If scale 1 , it doesn’t work ; if scale 1.2 , it is working.

Souris PC simple :

  • Was designed for the test , doesn’t work even if rescale it a little bit.

I have sent a message to you with the objects
Kind regards

I just tested your ‘SourisPCsimple.glTF’ and it appears to be functioning correctly (I used The Kalo Airport Sample for this test).

Of course, if I move further away from the object, it will disappear, but this behavior is intentional by design

I think we will need your full project to try to reproduce this.
See section 3) Here

Hi @Boris
Thanks for taking time to do this test.
It is a crazy thing.
I will send you the LFBD V WIP package in private.

Is there any settings can do this ? i tried pull the decor detail to 200 but without any effect on this issue.

Hi dear all users,
We are searching for this issue with Boris but i found what is happening.

Maybe the cause is the last Nvidia driver update but , i need to go to the menu.
Then modify objects level of detail from 100 to 120 and then go back to the airport and it is working. This trick don’t work if changing this setting live from the aiport.

All the best
