Object Test Radius problem!

Hello ! I have a problem ! I made a photo tile with the coordinates taken from Google Earth. The photo panel is accepted by MSFS and is right where it should be.

I opened a job with Devmode to make a new airport, putting in the coordinates.

I want to put a runway there, and I end up with the popup “Airport object to far from airport LFTI”; "Try increase “Object Test Radius” in red.

I increase Object Test Radius by 1000 meters, and I end up with the same problem !

I’m stuck at my job ! A solution ?

Regards,
Marc

Hello @Marcstrab ,

You’re seeing this because the ‘Airport’ object isn’t at the correct LFTI coordinates.
If this is a new scenery, you can quickly fix it by deleting the current airport element from your scenery and creating a new one.
This will set the correct coordinates.

Good morning ! Thanks for the response, but I’ve redone this 3 times before posting on the forum !

So I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong !

Any chance you can provide us with your project and a video showing the issue ?
See section 3) here : How to report a bug or crash

Hi ! Would you be kind enough to write to me how I should write latitudes and longitudes in MSFS ?

I feel like I no longer know how to write correctly !

Hello @Marcstrab

You can go on bing map at the location you want, right click on it and then copy the longitude and latitude.

Boris

Thanks a lot for your help. I started the project from scratch by transferring the geographical coordinates taken from Bing, and I managed to validate/save the landing strip in Devmode.
