I’d rather see Asobo implement a multiplayer system, with an API as trying to retrofit multiplayer requirements onto RequestDataOnSimObjectType, Coherent.Call(GET_AIR_TRAFFIC), and the Nameplates system is really limiting for any multiplayer experience.
MSFS is clearly intended as a multiplayer experience and I know Asobo didn’t inherit much usable code from FSX in that regard, but this issue seems fairly strategic.
