Unable to Export from 3ds Max 2024 with unique error

Version: 1.4.7
SDK: 1.2.3
Frequency: Consistently
Severity: Blocker
Context: exporting model from 3ds Max
Bug description:

[BABYLON][EXPORT] An error as occured during the export process :

Method not found: ‘Void Autodesk.Max.IAnimatable.GetClassName(System.String ByRef)’.

[BABYLON][EXPORT] Export has been canceled

[TEXTURELIB] Generating XML(s) for Texture(s) started at : 2025-03-28 04:39:06.765606

[TEXTURELIB] Operation completed in 0.021

Repro steps:

No hits on the term “Void Autodesk.Max.IAnimatable.GetClassName(System.String ByRef)” I removed a 600 frame skinned mesh animation and a two frame switch animation from the Babylon Animations Groups and then I deleted all key frames from both animations, finally I deleted both meshes and the previously animated nodes from the skinned mesh, despite changes the error remains.
I’ve also imported the Max file into a new scene, re declared the animations, same result.

This is a cockpit model I had previously used in 2020 with no issue and I did not change it, except to open it in 3ds Max 2024 and accept the upgrade changes. Other models from 2020 have not had problems.

Hello @_rk ,

Can you send us your max file please ?

Thank you very much. I prepared a light version to share and the problem appears to originate from one of the removed meshes, because the light version exports. I suspect it may be just a corrupt model, something I made in Sketchup maybe, or something I imported. It’s already pretty certain it has nothing to do with animation despite the error message, because I tried removing those parts as one of the first tests.
If it’s ok, I’ll track it down and if I can’t find anything wrong with the part that causes the error, I’ll share that mesh in the upload.
