Come on, the trick is needed to have an HINT at a distance for SMALL objects (like taxiway signs / runway lights or small hangars, let’s say anything below 20/30 meters
Not to justify the lazyness of not doing proper LODs
And that HINT of course should be the last Lod, with a handfuls of vertices and vertex colors only(although 150 is very strict, that’s no more than 5 cubes 
)
